Korean War Memorial Monument

Korean War Memorial Monument

The Korean War Memorial was installed and dedicated on Memorial Day of 2003 and stands as a profound testament to the fellowship felt by the Korean War Veterans of Delaware. The memorial has served as an outlet for these Veterans and their families to express their sentiments.

Often referred to as the "Forgotten War," the Korean Conflict lasted for three years between 1950 and 1953. While the Memorial Monument at the center of Veterans Memorial Park also honors those lost in this conflict as well as in World War II, the Korean War Memorial offers a dedicated place of solidarity and remembrance for the Veterans of this war and their family members.
